Artist's Statement

  My artwork has been greatly influenced by my life experiences. The range of  emotion spans from love to rage. In retrospect, as I age, I look back and realize not only my life, but also those around me, at some point in time, touch on circumstances that are exciting depressing,  obscure, and/or surrealistic. I have attempted to chronicle these aspects through my  writings, sometimes coyly, in both traditional and nontraditional themes. It  is my hope that I depict, through my choice of style and color those thoughts and feelings that give birth to the topic of my work, a  different side of reality.
